Six decades of Blue Cross: from humble beginnings to setting the standard for animal welfare

In 1959, Captain V. Sundaram brought home two stranded puppies he found on a flooded street near his house at T. Nagar. He built makeshift kennels at home for injured and abandoned animals. This organisation was registered as the BCI in 1964
