Pune engineer missing after Hormuz ship attack confirmed dead by family

A Pune-based marine engineer who goes missing after the MV GFS Galaxy is hit by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz is confirmed dead by his family. The vessel comes under attack near Oman. The family received confirmation of Karmarkar's death from his employer.
